Conference / Seminar Booking

TERMS: For the purpose of these conditions the following items apply:

MOR - Michael's Oriental Restaurant and Function Centre Organiser - Any persons responsible for booking the MOR or any of their own use, or the organisation they represent.

PAYMENTS: The first installment amount (which is the cost of room hire) must be paid upon confirmation of your booking. Payment can be made by Bank Transfer. Bank Details are:

The balance is due at the conclusion of your conference; American Express and Diners Credit Card payments will incur a surcharge of 3%.

CANCELLATION: All cancellations must be received in writing. An administrative fee of $150.00 will be deducted from your deposit for each booking cancelled, where more than 30 days notice is given. If less than 30 days notice, the full cost of room hire must be payable.

CONFIRMATION OF NUMBERS & CATERING: Final numbers are required 5 days prior to your event. This amount will be charged regardless of lower final attendance numbers. Later number increases will be accepted until 2 days prior. No BYO Food allowed on our Premises.

SECURITY: Security of the rooms and delegates belongings or organisers equipment during events is the responsibility of the organiser. MOR can arrange for this to be securely locked up, however MORE does not accept responsibility for items placed into its care by organisers. The making good in accordance with labour and material costs of any damage to MORE structure in consequence of their use will be at the expense of the organiser.

ACCESS: If access is required during the normal set up and pull down period outside normal hours of the building, the organiser will be charged access charges as required.
